IPL2024: 32nd Match: Delhi Capitals vs. Gujarat Titans – Who Said What?

In the end, Delhi Capitals found it too simple. Delhi made no mistakes in the game against the Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, winning both the toss and the match. The hosts were 30/4 at one point when they were batting first and lost wickets like a house of cards. Following a brief alliance, their numbers were whittled down to 48/6, seemingly signalling Gujarat’s demise.

But Rashid Khan saved Gujarat from an unpleasant scenario with a solid knock of 31 runs off 24 deliveries. To help the Shubman Gill-led team get bowled out for ninety runs, star bowler Mukesh Kumar claimed three wickets, Ishant Sharma and Tristan Stubbs each claimed two wickets.

Jake Fraser-McGurk gave DC a terrific start in the chase, but they also lost wickets frequently. The management shouldn’t be satisfied losing four wickets on a pitch that didn’t affect them much with the bat, even though the visitors were never under pressure. They attempted to play aggressive cricket, but ultimately failed, losing four wickets. Nevertheless, DC secured a six-wicket victory and solidified their standing on the standings.

1. GT batters’ amateur cricket team

After dropping a few wickets, the GT batters appeared incredibly uneasy, which ultimately proved to be their undoing. In the end, they were bundled out for ninety runs since none of their hitters displayed maturity. At this juncture, they need a senior middle-order hitter, and Kane Williamson appears to be the ideal choice.

2. All departments saw a clinical DC defeat GT.

Delhi bowlers achieved the desired outcome by bowling in the appropriate spots. They gave up wickets at the bat, but they played aggressive cricket and finished the job in 8.5 overs. The excellent catching of Rishabh Pant and the bowling of Mukesh Kumar and Stubbs were big pluses for DC.
