With just one major prize in 21 years, West Ham supporters are ecstatic as Manchester United looks to hire a new manager.

Manchester United, the dominant team in the Premier League, is reportedly interested in hiring a new manager, thus West Ham United may be getting a significant present from the team soon. It looks like David Moyes and Erik ten Hag will be leaving the London Stadium and Old Trafford, respectively, and West Ham and Manchester United will be searching for new managers this summer.

Although Moyes has suggested that he will not be playing at the London Stadium next season, I believe it is very clear that he will not. He has us playing dreadful football this season, which is inappropriate for a squad with so many talented and technically adept players.

Even in 2024, we have only managed four victories in our last 22 games across all competitions, which is a terrible record. Regarding Man United, the same is true. After a dismal start to the season, Ten Hag is under a lot of pressure, and the fact that he has led his team to the FA Cup final is likely the only thing keeping him employed. It appears that both teams may choose the same manager for their summer campaigns.

Manchester United observes the new manager that West Ham is seeking It should be clear which employment offer you accept if you receive one from Man United or the Hammers. 99% of football managers wouldn’t turn down the chance to manage Manchester United, as even the most devoted West Ham supporters would acknowledge. And this time, that is very wonderful news for us.

Manchester United ‘took out a study’ on Julen Lopetegui, according to a Corriere della Sera report, as they investigate possible Erik ten Hag replacements. West Ham is reportedly very much back in the running for the former Wolves manager, despite recent rumours suggesting that he is close to take over at AC Milan.

The Hammers will be extremely happy if Lopetegui,57, is appointed by the Red Devils. In my opinion, he is just not a significant enough improvement over Moyes. In his 21-year managerial career, the Spaniard has only won one major trophy: the Europa League in 2020 while leading Sevilla.

Lopetegui is a devoted pragmatic, and we need a new manager who can inspire our incredibly talented players to play football that is thrilling in the right ways. Not the Spaniard, but Ruben Amorim, Paulo Fonseca, or maybe Hansi Flick should take Moyes’ place. Furthermore, Manchester United, the 20-time league champions, may do us a great favour by selecting Lopetegui as their new manager this summer.
