Bronny James, a talented player for USC and the son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, has made the decision to join the 2024 NBA Draft while maintaining the option to return to college if necessary, following much uncertainty about his immediate future.

Bronny James’ game has been heavily criticised by many NBA analysts and experts because he doesn’t appear to be close to a finished product and didn’t particularly impress anyone with his performance at the University of Southern California. As a result, some have come to the conclusion that he would be a waste of a draft pick.

Though it appears NBA teams are looking at drafting Bronny as part of a package deal that would involve his father, who is still playing at a very high level as he gets closer to 40 years old, LeBron has stated that he wants to play with his son at some point.

It should come as no surprise that the Lakers now have the greatest odds when it comes to Bronny and which team is favoured to select him in the forthcoming 2024 NBA Draft, as odds about him were made public on Monday by BetOnline.
It goes without saying that these chances are subject to alteration, and they probably will, before the draft begins on June 26 and ends with the second round on June 27.

LeBron James is expected to opt out of his current contract next month and negotiate a long-term one, which may be his final one in the NBA; thus, the Lakers appear desperate to re-sign him.

LeBron’s return to Los Angeles for two or three more years would undoubtedly be aided by the acquisition of Bronny James by the organisation.
