Simon Banza, a striker for SC Braga, is reportedly the target of West Ham United’s impending bid, according to Portuguese publication O Jogo. The 27-year-old may have played his last game for Braga in the 1-0 loss to Porto, and he may be leaving the team this summer.

Banza has been recognised as a player that might command a significant transfer fee. Braga is planning to overhaul their roster, but they need to raise money to forward their ambition. With 21 goals in 28 league games, the international player from the Democratic Republic of the Congo concluded the 2023–24 season as the second-highest goalscorer in the Primera Liga.

It’s already a noteworthy accomplishment to surpass 20 goals in a league season, and it has improved his chances of landing a prominent summer transfer.
