The top-ranked Serb let out a yell when his opponent’s forehand sailed out of bounds while trailing 3–4 against Norwegian Casper Ruud. As soon as the point was announced, Djokovic turned and shouted, “Would you shut the f-k up!” at a spectator sitting in the stands.

His tirade was loud enough for the court microphones to pick up, which made pundits take back their crass comments. Chair official Mohamed Lahyani, who sided with Djokovic, told fans not to use their phones while the event was going on, as reported by Express UK.
