Guglielmo Vicario, the goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspur, has disclosed what his ” dreams” are about his accomplishments there.
The Tottenham goalie expressed his desire for his name and image to be “on the walls of the stadium forever” in an interview with the Spurs media team.
Spurs are a squad in transition after a disappointing 2022–2023 season, but they have come a long way under Ange Postecoglou.
Spurs played entertaining and well-rounded football for the bulk of the season, but they were slow to get going this year and are still very much aiming for a top-four finish.
The ultimate goal for Tottenham, as well as any other Premier League team, is to routinely win big trophies, something that Spurs have regrettably failed to do since 2008.
Spurs failed to win the Premier League title and the Champions League, although they came close under Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs are currently rebuilding under Postecoglou, and aside from false dawns, there is a genuine optimism in the team that has not existed in a long time.
Dreaming of Guglielmo Vicari to be in the Tottenham Hall of Fame.
This season, Vicario has been one of Tottenham’s better acquisitions, rapidly establishing himself as one of the top goalkeepers in the Premier League.
Speaking about his goals at Spurs, Vicario stated that he aspires to be inducted into the organization’s Hall of Fame.
“We need to remain in, but I am not sure how much time we have to do something spectacular,” he remarked.
“One of my greatest wishes would be to perhaps live eternally on the walls of the stadium.”
Vicario’s remarks will undoubtedly be well-received by Tottenham supporters. He wants to go down as one of their all-time great players, possibly racking up a few trophies in the process.
Although it has not always been easy, Spurs have been excellent this season, and that is simply a part of what it is like to play in the Premier League these days. This season, even Manchester City has suffered multiple league losses.
The important point is that Tottenham now has a clear vision and is making progress rather than merely handing off the blame and saying, “We will get there.” By working hard, they will increase the likelihood that they will succeed.
