England captain and Arsenal star Leah Williamson has seemingly confirmed her romance with Miss USA 2021 winner and journalist Elle Smith.

Williamson attended the 69th Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris on 22 September, where she was shortlisted for the 2025 Ballon d’Or Féminin. The evening also saw Arsenal crowned Women’s Club of the Year.

On 24 September, Williamson shared a series of Instagram photos with Smith, revealing they had attended the prestigious event together. One striking image showed the footballer in a sleek black suit and lace shirt, holding Smith’s hand as the former pageant queen laughed against her ear. “Ballon d’Or. Congratulations to all the winners,” Williamson wrote in her caption, adding: “In awe of my teammates for club and country.”

Smith, who also reached the top 10 at Miss Universe 2021, posted her own highlights from the evening, including a candid shot of the pair sharing a laugh while gazing into each other’s eyes. Another photo captured Williamson leaning against Smith as they departed the ceremony.

Their stylist, Carlotta Constant, added fuel to the speculation, commenting under Smith’s post: “7th pic tho… the most gorgeous couple EVER,” complete with teary-eyed and heart emojis.

The pair have been the subject of relationship rumors for several months. Back in May, following Arsenal’s Champions League triumph, Smith posted a black-and-white snap of Williamson sitting on her lap, gold medal in her teeth, accompanied only by crown emojis. Then in June, holiday photos of the duo—featuring Smith nestled against Williamson’s neck—rekindled speculation about their romance.

While neither Williamson nor Smith has officially confirmed their relationship, their latest posts from the Ballon d’Or have left fans more convinced than ever.
