It is said that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma is extremely dissatisfied with the decision to leave him out of the Mali squad for the current international break.
Yves Bissouma was on fire for Spurs at the beginning of the season, controlling the midfield and displaying all the skills that had lured the North London team to sign him.
That form, though, has significantly declined since the start of the year. Due to suspension and international service during the African Cup of Nations, Bissouma has fluctuated in and out of Ange Postecoglou’s starting lineup, but recently, he has appeared unwell.
Particularly for his performance in the most recent Premier League loss to Fulham, Bissouma received a lot of flak.
Yves Bissouma was dropped By Mali
The Mali midfielder has now suffered yet another setback after being left out of his nation’s team for this month’s international matches. Mali manager Eric Chelle made the following statement about his selection to the media (via Football.London): “Like many players, he deserves to be selected, it’s just a choice.” There are currently several players in my diamond who are marginally safer. It doesn’t follow that he won’t get another call.
Reports from Mali, however, state Bissouma has responded “furiously” to the slight. He may have even unfollowed the Mali Football Federation on Instagram, as well as removed any connections to the nation from his social media profiles.

lthough I can’t claim to be well-versed in which Mali players are playing well right now, I’m not shocked that Bissouma didn’t make the team. He’s been really fortunate to stay in the Spurs starting lineup, and I expect he’ll now need to put in a lot of effort to avoid Postecoglou dropping him.
