Olympic champion Noah Lyles is cautious about his detractors and will not give away all of his plans in advance of the upcoming season.
Noah Lyles, a three-time world champion, has made some insinuations as to why he will not be disclosing all of his grand plans before the upcoming season.
The individual claims in a TikTok video posted on his X handle that he will not be disclosing any information about his goals since he knows that his detractors will try to undermine him.
In an apparent attempt to explain to his supporters and detractors why he will be taking it easy as he prepares for the upcoming season, the American sprint king uploaded the video without a caption.
“I am telling you now, because of the hateful people who will want to ruin me, I have plans that I cannot discuss with you just now. I have plans, but I can not tell you about them just yet because people who dislike me will try to ruin them. The person on the video stated, “I have ideas that I will not divulge right now because the haters will undermine me.”
The three-time world 200-meter champion has never been shy about his intentions leading up to or throughout the season, but this year he is making a change. Lyles had declared his intention to break Usain Bolt’s 200-meter world record and win four Olympic medals when the 2024 season got underway.
His goal was to win first place by competing in the men’s 100 and 200 metres.
as well as the men’s 4×100- and 4×400-meter relay races. He did, however, only win the gold medal in the men’s 100-meter race, defeating Kishane Thompson by a mere millisecond as they both finished in 9.78 seconds.
