Following our loss to Newcastle United, Vladimir Coufal made an extremely candid admission that might irritate West Ham United supporters.
The Premier League match between West Ham and Newcastle took place on Saturday at St. James’ Park, and sadly, Vladimir Coufal was a major factor in our loss.
Given how close the competition for the top seven is, both David Moyes and the Hammers supporters were furious following the game over the defeat to the Toon.
We lost the game as a result of Moyes’s decision to start Kalvin Phillips instead of Michael Antonio, something he acknowledged after the game.
Our situation was not improved by Coufal’s performance, either!
Raoul Bellanova, a right defender for Torino, is reportedly Moyes’ long-term Vlad successor.
Despite this, he’s been playing well for the Hammers this season, racking up seven Premier League assists (Transfermarkt).
His Premier League statistics may also be found via Who Scored: Pretty Impressive.
• Each game, 1.9 tackles
• Every game, 1.3 interceptions
• Every game, 2.5 clearances
Nevertheless, Coufal gave a truly dismal 3/10 effort against the Toon and was far from his best.
Within minutes of giving up a horrendous penalty, Anthony Gordon ran the thirty-one-year-old man ragged for the duration of the game.
It’s just not acceptable that we let up a three-goal lead. And with that in mind, the Hammers supporters will be furious after Coufal’s most recent admission.
