Led Zeppelin is back in the spotlight this August as the legendary band celebrates the 50th anniversary of their iconic double album Physical Graffiti. The milestone has sparked a wave of tributes, tours, and exclusive releases that have fans old and new buzzing with excitement.
Leading the charge is Jason Bonham—son of the late Zeppelin drummer John Bonham—who is headlining the massive “Led Zeppelin Evening Tour.” What started as a tribute has exploded into a 70-date North American run, with Jason and his band performing Physical Graffiti in its entirety, plus Zeppelin staples like “Kashmir,” “Whole Lotta Love,” “Good Times Bad Times,” and the timeless “Stairway to Heaven.” The tour kicks off October 22 in Louisville and winds through major cities—Atlantic City, Cincinnati, Detroit, Boston—before wrapping up in Hollywood on November 26.
But that’s not all. Fans can mark September 12 for the release of Physical Graffiti Live EP—a stunning new collection featuring four rare live tracks from Zeppelin’s legendary Earl’s Court and Knebworth performances, available on vinyl, CD, and digital formats.
Meanwhile, frontman Robert Plant is keeping the spirit alive with his own tour alongside Saving Grace, including a Brooklyn stop on November 8. In interviews, Plant reflects on Zeppelin’s deep catalog, urging fans to revisit overlooked gems like “For Your Life” and “Achilles Last Stand.”
Guitar virtuoso Jimmy Page is also in on the action, spearheading deluxe reissues of the band’s classic albums, complete with remastered tracks and unreleased material—a dream come true for collectors and audiophiles.
With an anniversary tour that honors the past, new archival treasures, and candid reflections from the band’s icons, Led Zeppelin proves their music is as powerful and relevant as ever—five decades on. This isn’t just nostalgia; it’s a living legacy.
