West Ham United and Crystal Palace are interested in acquiring Wilfried Ndidi, a midfielder for Leicester City.
The two English teams are interested in signing the 27-year-old defensive midfielder, but it’s unclear if they can finalise the deal, according to a TuttoJuve report. Ndidi will be looking to lead Leicester to the Premier League this season after doing very well for them in the Championship.
There is a strong possibility that the Foxes will be promoted back to the Premier League. The midfield player’s contract is coming to an end, and Leicester won’t be able to keep him from departing in the summer. West Ham will be looking to work out a deal with the player in order to sign him for a discounted price.
Tomas Soucek needs to be replaced at West Ham, and Ndidi would be the perfect fit. The 27-year-old midfielder will also provide artistic contributions. This season, he has contributed ten goals in all competitions.
Wilfried Ndidi would like to return to the Premier League.
He will be drawn to the chance to rejoin the Premier League, as West Ham has been playing in Europe since the previous campaign. They were also successful in winning the UEFA Europa Conference League the previous year. They will undoubtedly draw the attention of the Championship player.
In the meantime, Crystal Palace must also improve the quality and depth of the park’s centre. They require a physically strong presence that can thwart enemy attacks and protect the defence unit.
If the 27-year-old midfielder from Leicester City joins West or Crystal Palace in the summer, he should be able to adapt fast and have an immediate impact. He has previously played in the Premier League. It will be interesting to watch how things work out in the end.
