Report: Top West Ham United Player To Sign For Rival Premier League Club

This summer, Ben Johnson is expected to sign a free transfer to join one of West Ham United’s Premier League opponents.

West Ham centre back Due to his inability to reach an agreement on a new contract with the club, Ben Johnson’s term at the London Stadium will expire in the summer.
The 24-year-old made his debut for West Ham in 2019 under Manuel Pellegrini, and he quickly rose to prominence.

It appeared at the time that we had developed a young player with extraordinary promise.
Johnson made a significant impact on the Hammers in the left and right back positions during the ensuing few years.

But since the 2022–2023 season began, he has significantly regressed, and because his contract expires at the end of the current campaign, he is expected to go on to greener pastures.

Ben Johnson will join Premier League rivals of West Ham United
Johnson hasn’t grown into the player we all anticipated him to be, which is unfortunate.
Although he has extraordinary athleticism, his other flaws frequently lead to that being wasted.

It looks like he’s about to relocate around London.
Johnson is reportedly planning to reject a transfer to Rangers in favour of joining Crystal Palace this summer, according to The Daily Record.
Let’s face it, for the past 18 months or so, he has been a complete and utter disaster for West Ham.

Although he has turned in a few strong cameos as a substitute over the last several months, the harsh reality is that he is not nearly good enough to be playing Premier League football.

His best recent performances have actually come in an auxiliary midfield role, and it’s clear that he won’t be able to stay there in the long run.

The 24-year-old is, in my opinion, the best championship player due to his startlingly low positional awareness and low levels of concentration.

He has played for the Hammers in 109 games overall, although I doubt he will add to that amount (Transfermarkt).

Ben Johnson is expected to leave West Ham this summer to join Crystal Palace, a Premier League team. Hopefully, I won’t have to eat what I said!
