Are the Celtics Sick? “Disregard them at your own peril.” Basketball Insider Warns Boston Doubters

The Celtics of Boston are a cart.

They dominated the regular season, finishing with a 64-18 record and earning the top seed in the NBA. In the first two rounds of the Eastern Conference end-of-season games, they absolutely destroyed the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning all two series in five games. In the association, their programme is the best. Considering their previous postseason experiences, they are battle-tested. Furthermore, they are solid outside of Kristaps Porzingis, who is recovering from a calf ailment.

But there’s a huge, obvious problem here: Boston’s recent inability to rise to the occasion and win the NBA Finals, often in spite of being thought of as clear favourites to win the Larry O’Brien Trophy.

Many may be hesitant to fully engage with the Boston team this season due to the Celtics’ near-misses, which include a trip to the 2022 NBA Finals when they were defeated by the Brilliant State Fighters in six games.
With just eight victories left and a title, the C’s are heavy favourites to win, yet mistrust persists outside of them.

According to ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst, who separated the “most astounding” portion of the second round of the postseason games on Friday and highlighted Boston, it’s a terrible idea.
Windhorst’s assessment, which was given to ESPN.com as part of a roundtable discussion to conclude the season, even included a stern warning at the conclusion.

“This postseason, the Celtics are 8-2 with seven double-digit victories. Each game, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum combined average 60 focuses and 14 bounce backs. Despite the absence of great player Kristaps Porziņģis, Boston is ranked No. 2 in offence and No. 3 in defence in the final games of the season, Windhorst wrote. “But they are leaving the Celtics to challenge for the championship nonetheless. The Miami Heat and the Cavaliers, their postseason rivals, both had injury problems, but the Celtics had little trouble defeating them. Ignore them despite the clear danger that lies ahead.”
