The 19-year-old Tottenham loanee who could have made a “big difference” to Ange Postecoglou’s first team astounded Alasdair Gold

Ange Postecoglou praised Spurs’ performance against Coventry City on Wednesday, citing Grey and Bergvall as two of their best players.

Alfie Devine, Will Lankshear, and Mikey Moore are just a few of the North London team’s many talented players.

It is interesting to note that Devine was even connected to a summer loan to the Saudi Pro League.

Additionally, it seems that Alasdair Gold is having interest in another player.
Ange Postecoglou has said that he has always been eager to give Grey, Odobert, Bergvall, Lankshear, and Moore a chance since he enjoys watching them in training.

Alasdair Gold got to see some activity midweek, and it appears that one of the team’s young players is making an impression at his loan club.
Alasdair Gold expressed on his YouTube channel that he was astounded by Jamie Donley’s impressive look for Leyton Orient.

“The previous evening, I was watching Jamie Donley play for Orient against Brentford. In retrospect, I realised that he was doing many things that made me think, “Oh my gosh, he is going to be at Orient and playing.”

“He was putting them away with so many quick, inventive passes that went between the lines. And you imagined that the Spurs would have had fewer issues if he had started in that lineup. I realise that is a big ask considering he is only 19 years old.

“But I believe he was that excellent against Brentford, a Premier League team; he would have had a significant impact.” However, I believe that his borrowing manoeuvre is a better move.

The left-footed creative midfielder has a bright future ahead of him if he is already looking at home against Premier League opposition. Spurs would often go backwards against Coventry until James Maddison came on to link up the play, so you can understand why Gold wanted someone like Donley to play those midfield-splitting passes. Donley played for 72 minutes against Brentford in a 3-1 Carabao Cup defeat. He won four duels, won one tackle, completed his only long ball, had 48 touches, and made two crucial passes.
