West Ham United will meet Manchester United in a few weeks, and Bruno Fernandes will be fit to play. That’s surprisingly excellent news for the Hammers.
With his red card, Bruno Fernandes was originally supposed to miss three Premier League games, including Manchester United’s match against West Ham. On Sunday, the team lost 3-0 to Tottenham. The Portugal international can now play against the Hammers, though, since the red card against him has already been overturned (BBC). The 30-year-old is clearly a key member of Man United, as evidenced by his position as club captain.
Fernandes has played 242 games for the Red Devils in all competitions, tallying an astounding 79 goals and 70 assists. Being one of the Premier League’s most lethal offensive playmakers, it’s understandable that some West Ham supporters will be angry that he’s now eligible to play against us. Here’s why it’s fantastic news for us instead, though.
