Maxx Crosby, a defensive end with the Las Vegas Raiders, is a favourite of the Detroit Lions fans because of his exceptional on-field record as a three-time Pro Bowler and because he was born and raised in Michigan. The athlete, who was born in Lapeer, is frequently the subject of trade rumours. In fact, he said on an October 8 episode of “The Rush with Maxx Crosby” that his family is beginning to worry if he would be transferring to Detroit or Philadelphia. After much speculation about trades, Crosby has officially answered the question of whether he will play for the Detroit Lions.
Maxx Crosby Dashes the Hearts of Detroit Lions Fans in Video Clip
In a ninety-second video published on October 6 by Vegas Sports Today, Crosby essentially breaks the hearts of Lions supporters who are hopeful he’ll decide to play in the Motor City.
“I have to hear from these clowns saying’something’s going on,’ on the Pat McAfee Show and online. They’re speaking for me, saying I should be sitting this one out when I have a high ankle sprain,” Crosby stated. “These clowns, they’re telling me what to do while they’re sitting on a coach.”
“But the reality is, I’m gaining yardage and trying to get right so I can get back on the field,” the former Eastern Michigan football player continued. They try to speak for me even though they are aware of my goals. We can talk if you talk to me and you understand what’s going on, but please don’t speak on my behalf if you don’t understand what the heck is going on.
Maxx Crosby Says the ‘Clowns That Are Online and Talking’ Are ‘Embarrassing’
Crosby continued, saying that his Raiders teammates are aware that he would “take a bullet for them,” as if that weren’t enough. It’s embarrassing that there are clowns on the internet chatting. Don’t talk for me, please,” he pleaded. “I only care about speaking for my guys, and that’s what I’m going to do. That bothers me because, as you know, I can handle a lot of heat. I have experienced that. But when you don’t know what’s going on, don’t talk about me. You’re talking about the organisation or speaking on my behalf.
“Come on bro, you know where I want to be,” he said when he was done. Do you believe I should be somewhere else? My body has this (crap) tattooed on it. I’m not interested in leaving. It’s just funny at the end of the day. Many have a lot to say when they are genuinely ignorant of the situation.
In reference to his family’s belief that these trade rumours were real, Crosby stated, “I’ve seen so many things,” during his appearance on “The Rush with Maxx Crosby.” I’ve had relatives ask me straight out, “You’re heading to Detroit? You’re visiting Philadelphia? Subsequently, individuals are fabricating statements such as Maxx’s, “Davante and I are a package deal.” I think it’s (expletive) crazy that some accounts are receiving 20,000 likes on anything they are posting legitimately.
With an average salary of $23,500,000 per year, Crosby inked a four-year, $94 million contract with the Raiders in 2022.
