Antonio Conte see may be able to take over Tottenham striker talks with a fresh job offer from the club.

Spurs’ fortunes immediately turned around under the Conte period, and they finished in the top four in 2022.

In the 2022–2023 season, it was anticipated that Conte would really pick things up and push Tottenham forward, but Spurs ended up going in the other way. After his team’s 3-3 tie with Southampton in March 2023, Conte went on an incredible tirade that ultimately led to his demise. While Tottenham is enjoying life under Ange Postecoglou, Conte has not yet returned to management.

As Xavi gets ready to leave the Camp Nou, there have been rumours of a move to Barcelona, but this summer, a return to Italy may be in the works.

Napoli, a team in Serie A, reportedly has made Conte an offer, according to Il Mattino.

Napoli won the Serie A championship the previous year, but since hiring Rudi Garcia and Walter Mazzarri, they have had a terrible time defending their title. Although Napoli appears to want Conte on board, Slovakian manager Francesco Calzona will lead the team till the end of the current campaign. It has been reported that Conte has received an offer of €8 million per year spread over three years, or almost £130,000 per week. Although Juventus is also considering Conte, it appears that Napoli is making a stronger move to acquire the 2021 Serie A champion.

If Conte moves to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, it might be an enticing opportunity for him, and he might even come back to haunt Tottenham.

March reports said that Tottenham had stepped up negotiations to buy Santiago Gimenez, a striker for Feyenoord. The Mexico international, who Dirk Kuyt described as “really fast,” has scored 21 goals in 28 Eredivisie games this year and appears ready to make a significant impact this summer. Tottenham is particularly interested in Gimenez, but Napoli could force a change of course in the talks, as Corriere dello Sport reports that they are looking to replace Victor Osimhen with Gimenez.

Gimenez is being considered as a replacement for the Nigerian, who may leave Napoli this summer, which would hurt Tottenham’s chances of closing a transfer. Spurs would still support themselves in this match, particularly considering how badly Napoli has performed this year. Though Tottenham would be sad to lose out to Conte, there’s a good probability Napoli will sign the former Spurs manager and then move to defeat Spurs at Gimenez.
