A new report claims that West Ham United are currently in negotiations to sign a Belgian player who made an impression on them.

Whether they like it or not, West Ham will have to deal with a very busy summer transfer market.

O Jogo claims that West Ham is pressuring Anderlecht to transfer Belgium international Zeno Debast with a proposed £13 million move.

Debast may be familiar to West Ham supporters given the team’s triumphs over his side in the Europa League the previous season.

This is due to the fact that the defender will be starting his final season with Anderlecht in the summer.

According to O Jogo, “Debast, it should be remembered, will reach the final year of his contract in the summer and, as we understand, he intends to take the leap to another level.”
