Regarding Bo Nix’s performance during today’s #Broncos rookie minicamp, Sean Payton said, “There’s a patience to the way he plays.” The verdict is in, and while I don’t want to call it dull since that would be incorrect, the choices made were, overall, fairly wise. He threw it nicely today, in my opinion.
It’s rare to hear the word “boring” used positively, but in this instance, it makes sense since there are instances when the dull move is the proper play.

A great play is always one that involves making the correct read quickly and throwing a well-placed, reliable pass, and Nix excelled at both throughout his time in college, earning the most starts of any quarterback in school history.

The Denver Broncos’ Russell Wilson period was vexing because the franchise lavished excessive compensation on Wilson while subjecting supporters to an actual boring offence devoid of explosiveness, complete with a never-ending barrage of check-downs and conservative playcalling.

With all of his college experience, Nix ought to be the starter from the first pick and the most pro-ready quarterback in the selection.
