Right-back for West Ham There is now even more incentive for Vladimir Coufal to prevent Manchester City from winning the Premier League on Sunday. Vladimir Coufal, the defender for West Ham, has been offered a special incentive to assist Arsenal defeat Manchester City on Sunday and win the Premier League.
Arsenal will win the Premier League if they defeat Everton at the Emirates Stadium and Coufal and West Ham can escape losing against City. It’s interesting to note that if that occurs, the 31-year-old defender won’t ever need coffee again! For the rest of my life, I’ve been provided free coffee!” Coufal disclosed to Sky Sports. “I’m surrounded by a lot of Arsenal fans,” he continued.
There are a lot of Arsenal supporters there because my son plays football. “They sent me some messages saying things like, ‘Your first Premier League goal is coming!'”
That would be quite pleasant, but we’ll see.” West Ham and Coufal also have the opportunity to assist a former teammate, Declan Rice of Arsenal, who left the squad last summer and is pleading with his former employer for a favour. “I think he [Rice] was in touch with the English boys, but he didn’t text me!” Coufal chuckled.
“He worries about Arsenal and their performance since he plays for them. We have our fight and they have theirs, since I haven’t communicated with anyone at Arsenal.” With their ninth-place finish sealed on Wednesday night, West Ham theoretically has nothing to play for on the final day of the season.
Though he hopes to prevent Manchester City from winning the Premier League for an unprecedented fourth time in a row, Coufal is savouring the opportunity to take centre stage in the race for the championship. “I’m really excited, to be honest,” he replied. “Hopefully, it will be an excellent game, and I’m really thrilled to see the Premier League trophy for the first time.
“Having the choice to determine the Premier League title is the best thing ever. It’s nice that we can decide on the title even when we are not contemplating it. “If West Ham were able to end Manchester City’s stranglehold, that would make for an amazing tale. I
t would be good to put an end to it, as they may become the first team to win it four times in a row.” Although Pep Guardiola’s team has not lost to West Ham in their previous 16 meetings with the Hammers,
West Ham does not have the finest record versus City. Coufal, though, is certain that West Ham can win all three points. “It’s probably one of the toughest places to play football,” he stated. “We don’t have a great track record there—in fact, I’d say it’s extremely poor! However, this run must end occasionally, so why not on Sunday?”
